Kanako Ito
Business Promotion Department Leader
2021
Everyone's individuality gets to shine and manifests in lots of diverse work and service styles.
Before joining Cosmos Hotel Management, I mainly managed domestic resort hotels.
I joined Cosmos Hotel Management because I thought it was interesting how they employ so many people with different backgrounds from all over the world who are living in Japan.
I joined MIMARU as Hotel Manager in January 2021 and have worked as such at MIMARU Tokyo Inaricho and MIMARU SUITES Tokyo Nihombashi.
Currently, I belong to the Business Promotion Department, and I tackle behind-the-scenes projects that provide various types of support so that hotel operations can proceed smoothly.
I find it rewarding to be able to make memories alongside guests who come to stay with us. Since most of our guests are from overseas, we receive a wide variety of questions, big and small. We do our best to answer even the smallest ones so that our guests can create amazing memories of their trip to Japan.
Lots of staff with many different backgrounds work at CHM, and I think it's amazing how everyone's individuality gets to shine and manifests in lots of diverse work and service styles.
I very much enjoy domestic travel since I can use those experiences and information at work. Something that is appealing about CHM is the high degree of freedom to take holidays and the encouragement to enjoy a healthy work-life balance.
